Returns and Refunds

Returns will be honoured within 30 calendar days from the delivery/pick up date of the respective order provided the product is in its original condition, has all the tags and stickers and is in its original case.

 

We now accept returns for frames with prescription lenses pending it meets the same conditions as above.

 

Online purchases return address:

For online purchases, if an order has been undeliverable and returned to 1001 Optometry, we will contact you to confirm your details and reschedule the delivery. If no reply is received within 30 days, a refund will be processed back to you.

The returns and refunds process may take 10 – 30 business days.

Important Terms and Conditions:

  • The refund will be processed through the same method of the original payment.
  • The risk of loss or damage for all items shipped to 1001 Optometry is borne by the sender/customer until 1001 Optometry accepts and receives the item(s).
  • We reserve the right to reject future orders from those who have made unconfirmed claims for the non-delivery of goods.
  • In cases of claims where the delivered parcel does not contain the product, verification procedures will be conducted for security, compliance and to avoid discrepancies.
  • Breakage caused or incorrect prescription provided by you does not hold us liable to a refund or replacement under warranty. A replacement or repair fee will be charged by us accordingly. The benefits and cost of delivery stay the same.
  • No refund or exchange for change of mind purchases on optical frames with prescription lenses or any non-prescription lens coatings (including blue light filter and transition coating).
  • Replacements and repairs under warranty are valid depending on the nature of prescription errors and manufacturing faults although the maximum repair warranty period is 3 months from the date of repair completion.
  • Customer guarantees and warranties are subject to benefits depending on the returned product’s assessment for replacement or repair.
  • Refund amounts are limited to the maximum value of the original order.
  • Defective products must be returned within the warranty period.
  • For online purchases, once the product has been delivered or picked up, the customer accepts all responsibility.
  • For returns from countries other than Australia, we will cover your return postage of up to $15.00 and in cases of exchange, we will charge a shipping fee to deliver the new items to your respective overseas address.
  • The time taken for overseas returns and exchanges will be higher due to longer courier transit service duration.

 

Contact Lens Exchange Terms:

Should your prescription change within 30 days of purchase or your purchased product was incorrect, you may be eligible for a contact lens exchange provided:

  • The contact lenses are in their original packaging and box seal.
  • The packaging is unmarked and the seal must not be broken.
  • The contact lenses have been supplied by 1001 Optometry.

 

Gift Cards, Vouchers, Credit Memos/Notes, E-Vouchers:

  • The validity is subject to the date given on the voucher and gift cards are valid for 3 years from the issue date.
  • Gift cards, vouchers, credit memos/notes and e-vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
  • Redeemable only at 1001 Optometry stores and the online store - www.1001optometry.com.au
