Orthokeratology or also known as Ortho K is a medical device similar to contact lenses that is applied to the eye whilst asleep. The device exerts pressure onto the cornea and temporarily moulds the eye into the correct positioning, making vision better during the user's waking hours (appears as if you are wearing lenses for correction). 

The effects last all day and allow the user to be free from wearing prescription glasses, prescription sunglasses or contact lenses.
